Searcy Morgan, CEO
Searcy founded Matterlab at the request of several leading nonprofits who sought strategic support to embolden and amplify their organizational platforms. She brings more than a decade of experience as a strategist in the nonprofit and social sectors, with specific expertise in behavior change campaigns, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, and thought leadership. She received her undergraduate degree in literature from Rice University and her graduate degree in neuroscience from Columbia University with a focus on behavioral economics and inner speech processing. Searcy is a proud native Mississippian, a Teach For America Los Angeles alumna, and a resident of Austin, Texas, where the Matterlab team is based.
LANE ROBBINS, VP Of marketing
Lane is an innovative marketing strategist and designer with a decade of experience developing and promoting brands across a spectrum of industries—always with a social impact focus. She received her undergraduate degree in media arts and design from James Madison University and her MBA from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. She found her way into the classroom through Teach For America, and now combines her marketing expertise and passions for education and social change at Matterlab. Lane leads the Dallas office.

Josh is a seasoned communications strategist with a focus in education. He has dedicated his career to driving measurable social impact through storytelling and brings more than a decade of experience honing tactical messaging for nonprofits. He received his undergraduate degree in history from Purdue University and his MBA from Purdue's Krannert School of Management. Josh leads the New Orleans office.
